UPDATE – Plans submitted!

Lidl GB has submitted plans which would relocate its existing store in Pickering and build a new foodstore on land off Thornton Road.

Lidl is proud to have served the local community for many years from our Vivis Lane store and is now looking to deliver a significantly improved shopping experience for local residents.

As the current store is landlocked by surrounding roads and buildings, there is no opportunity to expand the existing site. With customer demand already exceeding our available parking capacity, we are proposing a multi-million pound investment in a brand-new, purpose-built store at a new location to better serve the community.
